Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival in Phnom Penh
Upon arrival at Phnom Penh International Airport, transfer to the hotel for check-in. In the afternoon, visit the Royal Palace, Silver Pagoda, and the National Museum. Explore the local market before returning to the hotel. Overnight in Phnom Penh
Day 2: Exploring Phnom Penh

After breakfast, travel by private car or minivan to visit the Russian Market and the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum (S21 Prison). Continue to Wat Phnom and enjoy a sunset view along the riverside. Overnight in Phnom Penh.

Day 3: Phnom Penh to Siem Reap (Overland)

Depart Phnom Penh by private car or minivan for Siem Reap. En route, stop at Skun, known as “Spider City,” where adventurous travelers can sample local delicacies. Continue to Kampong Khleang on Tonle Sap Lake and take a wooden motorboat to explore the floating village and observe local life along the riverbanks. Overnight in Siem Reap.

Day 4: Angkor Temple Exploration by Tuk Tuk

Travel by tuk tuk or private vehicle to explore the ancient city of Angkor Thom, including Bayon Temple, the Terrace of the Elephants, and Phimeanakas (the Royal Palace). Continue to Ta Prohm, famously known as the “Jungle Temple.” After lunch at a local restaurant, visit the magnificent Angkor Wat, the largest religious monument in the world. Enjoy the sunset before returning to the hotel. Overnight in Siem Reap.

Day 5: Kulen Mountain and Banteay Srei

Travel by private car or minivan to visit Banteay Srei, the intricately carved pink sandstone temple. Stop at Preah Dak Village to sample local sweets and cakes. Continue to Phnom Kulen National Park to visit the waterfall, swim in the holy waters, and see the reclining Buddha. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before visiting Peang Tboal, where ancient carvings are etched into natural sandstone. In the evening, enjoy a traditional Khmer dinner and dance performance.

Day 6: Siem Reap to Banteay Chhmar

After breakfast, check out and travel overland to Banteay Chhmar. Explore the temple complex and nearby sites such as Ta Prohm Temple. Have lunch at a local restaurant before continuing to Sisophon City. Overnight in Sisophon.

Day 7: Sisophon to Battambang

Travel by private car or van from Sisophon to Battambang, with a short stop along the way. Arrive before lunchtime and rest at the hotel. In the afternoon, visit Wat Dom Rei Sor, Phnom Sampeu, and witness the spectacular bat exodus from the caves at sunset.

Day 8: Battambang Countryside Tour by Tuk Tuk

Explore Battambang’s countryside by tuk tuk. Visit local workshops producing rice paper, sticky rice, and rice wine. After lunch at a local restaurant, visit a traditional wooden house and the former governor’s residence. End the day with a scenic bamboo train ride at sunset.

Day 9: Battambang to Pursat and Kampong Chhnang

Travel by private vehicle to Pursat Province to see marble carving workshops, then continue to Kampong Chhnang to visit traditional earthenware pottery villages. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant and explore the local market. Overnight in Kampong Chhnang.

Day 10: Kampong Chhnang to Trapeang Rung (Camping Region)

Depart by private car or minivan for Trapeang Rung. Upon arrival, transfer by boat to the community-based camping area. Overnight at the campsite.

Day 11: Catamount Forest Exploration

Spend the day exploring the forest on foot with local community guides. Participate in eco-friendly camping activities. Overnight at the campsite

Day 12: Nature Trekking and Birdwatching

Continue trekking through the forest to observe native flora and fauna, including birdwatching opportunities. Overnight at the campsite

Day 13: Trapeang Rung to Koh Rong Sanloem

Return to Trapeang Rung Bridge by 10:30 a.m. and travel by private vehicle to Sihanoukville. In the late afternoon, take a speedboat to Koh Rong Sanloem. Overnight on Koh Rong Sanloem.

Day 14: Koh Rong Sanloem – Beach Relaxation

Enjoy a full day of leisure at the beach resort.

Day 15: Island Activities

Relax on the beach or join optional island activities available at the resort’s information center.
